MARCHESA

Eccetric, elaborate, tasteful. All words to describe Marchesa Luisa Casati, an Italian heiress and socialite who the American brand Marchesa founded by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig was named after. I returned to her for my inspiration for this designer project. I began with research into Casati’s life and playing with embellishments and textures along with drapes to unveil shapes as unexpected as Casati.
